Just rolling along...

Well, things are just sort of moving along here. Randi is still working, however, they are making it hard for her. More on that later. We had a great day in OKC last Saturday celebrating Randi's 29th b-day. Randi, Kaitlyn and I left our house at about 60 degrees, and hit Johnny Corino's in Norman at about 48 degrees. Bit a change for a little over an hour of driving! But we had a great lunch followed by some shopping at Crossroads Mall. And talk about a small world, we ran into Randi's cousin right off the bat, and then Randi's folks later that afternoon. After Crossroads, we hit Sooner Fashion Mall and did a bit more looking around and shopping. That was all followed up with the "traditional" dinner at El Chico's and a big birthday song! I actually tricked Randi and she didn't know anything about them singing to her, until they came out clapping and singing.

My boss has now made me jump in head first into the world of management. She handed over the department budgeting and expenditure tracking, and strategic planning creation and tracking, to add to my project management, and my own projects. haha...

So as if I wasn't stressed enough over going back to school!

Who, me?Kaitlyn is doing better, but making Randi and I turn grey early. She has been doing good during the day at day care, but she wakes up about 2 or 3 times each night for the past 5 nights. She just wakes up crying her heart out, so we get her up and give her a bottle. She will then go back to sleep, but you can bank on it only lasting about an hour or 2 and she is awake again.

Randi was looking though, and saw some teeth trying to come through in the back, so if those will just come in, maybe we can sleep again. haha..

Wow... big temp change.. and it's even colder here now.. haha.. Happy you all had a great bday for Randi too. She will remember... your boss is a very smart person with great management skills, to recognize you have solid management skills, and then place both the responsiblity and the ablity in your hands to "take charge" ... you will do GREAT!
