Cool CD

I wanted to send a "thank ya!" to Philmo for the awesome CD!! I guess with age, my musical tastes have started to vary to stuff I would have never dreamed of listening to, but as some of you might know, I have recently discovered how good jazz is.

Well, my good brother Phillip happened across a jazz "gem". It is Thelonious Monk Quartet with John Coltrane at Carnegie Hall (live). Man, that is some awesome sound!! If you haven't given jazz much of a chance, give this CD a try. It gets my 10 stars!

I am going to get it ripped again and I will put some of it on my MP3 player on here for you all to listen to. You have to be opened minded and just give a try. Just close your eyes, image that it 1957 and that you are in the glorious Carnegie Hall listening to 2 jazz greats nailing song after song.
