daddy's night with the kids

I got to have an evening with the kids tonight, since Randi had to go to Seminole with some of the ladies from her office. So I decided we would do it up good.

We started the night at Subway, and ate some good sandwiches. Then daddy gave in the kid's wishes... haha... And we ended up at Braums. Of course, really, does it take much to get this guy into an ice cream store?? haha.. Not really!

But we ate some ice cream and stayed until Dylan tried to start climbing over the booth seat, and had told every person walking by our table "Hello!!!!". He was the life of the restaurant!

So I had to get a picture of them. This was before the sugar rush hit in! lol...

Look at the size of those "single scoop cups"!!

kaitlyn's radio station

The kids and I were sitting in Randi's new car tonight at Braum's while Randi ran in to get some milk.

So I decided to start flipping through the XM radio stations, since I have never really looked to see what all was there. First of all, I have to say that I am really amazed by all the different channels! There is just about anything you could ever want to listen to!

But then something funny started to happen. Kaitlyn would tell me to "go on" or "stop" as I got to different channels. For most of them, she would simply say "go on" after listing to it for just about a second or two.

Then we hit XM79. The name of the station is 'Met Opera Radio'! Kaitlyn said "stop!". So I tried to turn it to some other stations, and she started yelling at me, "stop, stop daddy! go back to the one before!". So I would turn it back to XM79 and she would just smile real big. I am not sure what Opera was playing, but I have to say it was beautiful. But nothing I thought she would actually sit and listen to.

Then she started making this movement with her arms. After staring at her a little bit, I realized she was playing the air-violin! She would just sit their sawing on that pretend violin, and she just had the biggest smile on her face! It was sooo cute!

I didn't think anyone would believe it, so I took a picture of it. haha..

This screen proves it - XM79 - Met Opera Radio
