ahhh, so special

Randi had ran back into Wal-Mart tonight and I had the kids for a little bit. Next thing I new, they both came running from Kaitlyn's room laughing it up. Dylan had on Kaitlyn's bicycle helmet with the strap on and everything. It was just the cutest thing every! haha...

kaitlyn's big day

We had a good time today surprising the heck out of Kaitlyn. Really we didn't have any reason to do it, but we wanted to anyway. We decided to buy her first bedroom suite for her. We found a really nice looking black sleigh bed and dresser set here in Ada, so we ordered it about 10 days ago and they delivered it this morning to our house.

She was so surprised and excited to get her own big girl bed.

Here are some photos.

Kailtyn's first glimpse at her new bedroom suite. She was really excited!

ah... another semester...

Well, it is official. I am completely and utterly sick of school!

Last semester it was my business law and report writing class. This semester it is only a friggin' biology class, but I have a terrible feeling that it is going to kick my butt!

Today was just the second day I have been there because I was out sick on Monday. But man, I think I actually understood about 10 words that the prof said. And that was only when I took a breather from my nearly three pages of notes I was trying to take as they ran through their PowerPoint at nearly 50 mph!

So tomorrow is my lab, so we will see what that is like. But I have decided that they need to provide a remedial science course for people like me that have been out of school for a while. They do that with math, where you can take a survey class and get your feet wet with it again. But for science, it is just "jump in and drown!"

Anyway, just wanted to drop a line on my way to bed. Everybody stay warm tomorrow!

happy new year!

I know it is a tad delayed, but HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Here is hoping that everyone has a splendid new year!

Down here, it was a pretty good year. A bit busier and more chaotic than I really want, but it was still good. I managed to knock out two more semesters with only one B, so that was cool. We purchased and moved into our very first home with the kiddos, which was a blast. And the kids just kept eating and growing! haha..

Actually the kids are most definitely becoming "little people". Kaitlyn is developing her own little attitude, and Dylan is just pretty much copying sister. So basically we have two kids that are getting too big for their britches and who's favorite word is "no". But we love the heck out of them!

So here are some pics to get everyone caught up. Just a little montage of some of my favorites.
