note about dylan

I forgot to mention this in my last post, but Dylan is sick again.  He woke up about 4:00am Sunday morning running a fever, and managed to hang on to it the entire day.  Randi called her mom Sunday afternoon just to visit and Vicki volunteered to keep him so that we didn't have to take him to the sick child care this time.  So Randi took him over there after dinner.  So we are hoping he gets better soon.

If there is one thing that I still am terrible at, it is watching my kids when they are sick.  it just breaks my heart to see them not feeling good and stuff.  And you could tell he just really didn't feel good.  Anyway, will keep you posted.

dad's birthday trip

We headed to Stillwater on Saturday to visit the folks and the siblings and basically just check up on everyone. Well, that and let everyone see the kids. I think that is more important than anything actually. But we had a good ol' time.

As it turned out, Saturday was also Randi's cousin's baby shower, so her and Dylan went to that while Kaitlyn and I hung out with the fam. It was really good to get to see everyone. Even though for Heather, Paul and Andrew it was really short. They had tickets to an event in OKC so but they stopped by to say hello and also drop off my niece Madison. Her and Kaitlyn had FUN!!

But it seemed like everyone is doing good. And since it was before Christmas that we were up there last, the kids got their Christmas presents from Aunt Marylin and Grandma Moffat. The kids were a bit confused as to why they were getting presents, but once they started opening them, they didn't care.. haha... But thanks again to everyone for making it a fun trip up there and getting to see everyone. And here a couple of shots I grabbed with my phone.

kids playing

These are just some photos that I finally got pulled off my phone. Most of these where before Dylan rolled the little tricycle over on himself! haha... Anyway, enjoy them.

I am still trying to get the photo gallery back up and running as well, so keep watching it for new photos. Also, I am thinking of maybe starting up my own little sub-site to this site. Just some where to put all the crazy stuff in my head every day. Thought that might be kind of neat. We will see though.

happy birthday dad!

Happy birthday Grandpa Moffat!  I hope that you enjoyed your call from Kaitlyn.  She really wanted to call you.  I didn't think she would actually sing it loud enough to hear, but I guess she did. Hope you had a great birthday dad!  We love you!

fun valentines

I truly hope that everyone had a great Valentine's day. I know around Ada the weather was beautiful and it made it hard sitting at a computer all day. I got to treat myself good today! I was fitted for my permanent crown for the tooth I had a root canal on. Now if you aren't sure how to spend a Valentine's day, let me tell you, that is it! haha...

It really wasn't as bad as I was worrying about though.  I thought I would get some gas again before the shots though, well that didn't happen.  But I was able to hold myself down, and not crying! lol!!  The dentist did an outstanding job though.  He is really good, or as least as my short list of dentists goes! haha..  Anyway, I go back in three weeks to get my permanent and then I am finally done with this.  I am ready!

Also, Jake stopped by to visit us.  It was good to see you brother!  We got to eat pizza and sit around and chat a bit before he had to head to Pauls Valley to work.  It was good to see him, and the kids liked it too.  Kaitlyn even gave him 5 before he left.  Which for her, that is a big step! haha...

Anyway, hope you all had a wonderful day, and on we go into this crazy year.  Later!

happy valentines day!!

I would like to send out a HAPPY VALENTINES day to my lovely wife, Randi. I love you honey and hope you know it. I hope you have an awesome day sugar!!

Also, I would like to send out a Happy Valentines day to my family and Randi's family. Where would we be without our family? Probably nowhere. We love all of you very much.

And Trish... Are we counting down yet? Can't wait to see our new niece!

just an update and stuff

Hello everyone.  Just jumping on to say hello.  School is still taking up nearly every second of my free time, so I am uploading photos as quickly as I can.  However I just have to start them and let them run when I have time.

Everyone is doing ok though.  Dylan got sick on us last Friday.  Randi ended up having to pick him up from day care becuese he threw up really big and was running a fever.  But we were finally able to use the new Chickasaw Nation Sick Child Care Center.  I thought it was only for people that had kids in the Chickasaw Nation day care, but come to find out, it is for everyone!  So after Randi filled out a mess of form and I faxed them a copy of my badge to save us a few bucks on it, the nurse lady checked him out and then put him in a room with other kids his age.  So it is pretty neat.  True it is a bit weird putting your kid in with other sick kids, but they have a nurse on staff there and it allows you to be able to stay at work.  Plus, a really nice feature, it is about a mile from Randi's office.  So it puts them even closer than the Latta day care we use.

So Friday night, all of use here at the house.  Kaitlyn and Dylan were playing around and running and getting all worked up.  Then Randi started tickling Kaitlyn's stomach and up comes dinner.  Then we really got worried.  But by Saturday afternoon, they were both feeling fine and back at the horseplay.

Randi is doing really good.  Her boss bought her flowers today.  And she got the best looking batch of the bunch.  I told her that her boss is going to have a jealous husband showing up there someday soon! haha...  He is a really cool boss though.  If anything I am jealous that she has such a neat place to work.

My new boss is pretty cool though.  She has pushed a lot of stuff through that I needed to get done and has us working on some neat projects that are out of our department's scope, but still fun.  If I just didn't have school taking all time, then I would be having a ball right now! haha...

photo gallery recovery

Well, I am going to have to send a big thank you out to my dad for giving me some tips on getting our photo gallery back up and running. It turns out our host migrated us to a new server system, and now we have the option of choosing either PHP 4 or PHP 5. And it also happens that a setting that is much needed turned off, is by default with version 5. And bingo! We are back up.

Now the real fun begins! haha... Now I have to go back and try to upload the over 2 gigs of photos that we had in our gallery when it went BOOM! But I will get it done. And think about it, now you will get to see some old photos that you may not have looked at in a while.

photo gallery disaster

For those of you that may not have noticed, our photo gallery has went KABOOM!! and exploded!  Not a pretty site.  But between preparing to present our latest web redesign at work and trying to do two marketing chapters by this weekend, I have had much time to work on it.  But I will try to get it back up this weekend.

wew! two tests down...

Well, I finished up my first two tests in my online classes today about 6:30pm.  Did pretty good on one of them.  I made a 97 on my world music class.  It wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be.  It was actually kind of fun.

Now the marketing class was a bit different.  He doesn't ask the usual definition type questions.  Instead they were ALL comprehension questions.  Sixty of them darn things!  He allowed one chance to take it and you got two hours.  I submitted my test with a little less than 7 minutes remaining! haha...  I made an 88 on it.  So it is still all good.

Lets just say if I wasn't as computer savvy as I am, then I wouldn't be able to pull the scores I am.  Maybe one day I will share with you all the secrets of taking an online class.  Until then, they are my secrets!
