Post Thanksgiving Day

haha..  Well, it is the day after.  It took us almost an entire day to recover from the overeating that occured! haha..  Just kidding!

We sure were hoping that Randi getting a big ol' Thanksgiving lunch complete with a tadbit of dessert would get little Dylan on his way, but it was a no-go.  We guess he is just going to hang in there until the doc takes him out! lol

We are really getting excited though.  Just a matter of days now.  Next Wednesday morning to be exact.  I have to get Randi to the hospital at 6 a.m. and they start the procedure at 8 a.m.  So it won't be long.

I guess I am still going through MY "nesting" phase.  Randi and I moved the living room furniture around this afternoon after going shopping at Wal-Mart this morning.  Then I cleaned the outside of the house windows.  That just seems like way too much work for me!  haha....

Kaitlyn's update

Well little Miss Kaitlyn had her 2 year check up this morning with the good ol' doc.  We can tell she is getting a little braver with age.  She actually didn't go kicking and screaming into his office today! haha..

Usually the second you start walking down the hallway she starts her screaming and yelling NO!  But Randi said she did really good, and even told him "bye-bye" when they were leaving.

But all is good.  She received a clean bill of health.  She did have a tad bit of water behind her left ear, but he doesn't think it is anything to worry over right now.  So we are to get her an appointment scheduled for when we take Dylan in for his 2 week appointment.

Just thought I would let you all know why I was trying to sneak a break at work.

Thursday excitement

We had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon with Randi's doctor.  Just one of those fun stress test appointments where they hook her to the machine and we sit there, and sit there, and sit there, and sit there, and... well, you get the point.

Well, they weren't seeing the movement in heart rate that they wanted to see in the time that we were there, so they sent us over to the Labor & Delivery area at Valley View Hospital.  The fun part was that we got to her doctor's office at 1 for the stress test.  They tested her there until about 3, and then told us we needed to get to the hospital.  Well, both of us had left stuff unfinished at work for the first appointment, so we both had to run back to our offices and wrap stuff up and then we met back at the hospital.

So they hooked her to the machine again and man was Dylan having fun!  He was moving around like crazy and kicking and his heart rate was up and down, just like they wanted to see.  So after about 2.5 hours of being hooked up to the machine, the doc popped his head in the door and said "go home".

So Dylan is looking good.  We go back next week for another test, and every week after until Dylan decides to show up.

I just thought I would share our bit of fun today.

Halloween and fishes 06

IMG_3872.JPGI put some photos in our gallery tonight of a few different things tonight.  They are just all in the top-most gallery.  The photos are of Kaitlyn's new fish that we got her to go in her fish tank she got for her birthday, Halloween and also some fun with shorts! haha..  You will just have to look.

Kaitlyn wasn't that big of a fan of Halloween tonight.  Most of the times someone knocked on our door, she would take off hauling butt to me with a look of massive fear on her face.  It was cute though! lol!

halloween.jpgThere was about 4 of us that somewhat dressed up that day at the office.  Well, 3  of us "sort of did" and 1 of us really did!  All 3 guys in the picture (your's truely on your left) sort of did, and then Stacy actually made her dress herself, by hand!  So she is pretty talented!

Everything else is going ok so far.  Just trying to keep my head above water and my butt out of trouble... haha...  You all be careful!
